How to clear Flash Player local storage

Sasha Kozlova —

Similar to the cache in your web browser, your Flash Player may also store data from visited websites locally on your computer. This data is called local shared objects, local storage or commonly "Flash cookies".

Clearing your local storage may be useful when you encounter a technical issue with your Flash Player plug-in.

To clear your local storage:

  1. Click here to open the Flash Player Website Storage Settings panel

  2. Click "Delete all sites", then "Confirm"

This will clear your local storage across all browsers on your computer.

Exception: Google Chrome uses its own integrated plug-in called Pepper Flash Player by default. If you are using Google Chrome, you need to perform these steps separately in Chrome as Pepper Flash Player uses its own settings apart from the regular Flash Player plug-in.
